Fees
The Skin Doctor is a private billing practice and accounts are due on the day of your appointment or procedure, unless otherwise advised. You may be eligible for a rebate from Medicare if you hold a current card.
Please note we are unable to claim from an insurer on your behalf.
Fees for aesthetic dermatology consults are $150. If you proceed with a treatment on the day, this is deducted from the total. If you do not proceed, it is not refundable. Fees will be quoted prior to treatment. No Medicare rebate applies to these consults or treatments.

$137.10 out-of-pocket fee ($220 full cost minus $82.90 Medicare rebate)
Follow up appointment (allow 10 mins) $102.50 out-of-pocket fee ($145 full cost with $42.50 Medicare rebate)
Rapid Access Acne Clinic
Acne Clinic First Consult
Comprehensive consult for acne. Full medical history and examination undertaken and management options discussed. $137.10 out-of-pocket fee ($220 full cost minus $82.90 Medicare rebate)
Follow up appointment (allow 10 mins) $102.50 out-of-pocket fee ($145 full cost with $42.50 Medicare rebate)
Skin Cancer Dermatology
Full Body Skin Check
The entire skin is checked and areas of concern photographed with our state-of-the-art mole mapper. Images are saved for comparison at future checks. $137.10 out-of-pocket fee ($220 minus $82.90 Medicare rebate)
Spot Check
1-3 lesions of concern. (only recommended if you have already had a full skin check in the last 12 months.) $67.15 out-of-pocket fee ($110 minus 42.85 Medicare rebate)
Biopsies or excisions are arranged on a separate clinic day.

Comprehensive consult for hair loss concerns. Full medical history and examination undertaken and management options discussed. $137.10 out-of-pocket fee ($220 full cost minus $82.90 Medicare rebate)

Appointments can be booked online at any time of day or night and is our preferred method of booking.
Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation.
If you do not receive any appointment confirmation please contact us to confirm you booking has been successful.
If you can no longer attend the appointment, please cancel via your confirmation SMS or contact us directly. Please note a fee of $100 will apply if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your appointment or fail to attend your appointment.
Please note, this is not a GP practice but a specialised Primary Care Dermatology practice. If a referral is required for a Specialist Dermatologist, Dr McKibbin will provide a referral and a recommendation.
